-
- 0. What's the use of this program ?
- ================================
- That is an interesting questions, especially since the speaker of the
- pilot is of such low quality.
-
- I can think of two good reasons :
-
- 1. Well, believe it or not the setting that Palm decided on for the pilot
- alarm is not the best. In this case setting the volume to the maximum
- does not seems to be the best choice. All I can say is, use the
- software and try various setting and post the result to other pilot
- users.
-
- For my case, I have found that the alarm sound louder when the Alarm
- Volume is set at between the Mute and Mid setting. The Master volume
- is set to the max.
-
- 2. If you do not like to hear sound from the pilot totally. You can set
- the master volume to Mute. But be careful, you will not hear your alarm
- as well.
-
- Cases when you want to do this is, Mute the annoying Hot-Sync sound or
- during meeting you like to play with the tricoder or other games that
- don't have an option to mute the sound.
